COD Vanguard Aim Assist

Herschel “Dr Disrespect” Beahm IV is switching to controller in Call of Duty: Vanguard and is urging all of his fans to do the same.

Dr Disrespect has been playing the crap out of Vanguard for the past week. While mostly known for his entertaining persona, the Two-Time is a skilled gamer who does get a lot of respect for his mechanical prowess and strategy. So fans are taking Dr Disrespect seriously when he said to switch to controller.

After putting a lot of hours into Call of Duty: Vanguard, Dr Disrespect has decided to swap his keyboard and mouse for a controller, possibly forever. He has found that Vanguard’s controller aim assist is the “strongest ever.” During a stream, he called it “the strongest aim assist of all time.”

Dr Disrespect is so sure of this, in fact, that he is also telling his community to play on controller so they don’t get left in the dust.

In a recent stream with CouRage and TimTheTatman, the Doc blew his fellow streamers away with an epic victory. When asked what weapon he was using, Dr Disrespect answered that he was using a “controller.” While the squad laughed, Dr Disrespect was being serious. He even conducted some tests, pointing out that the marker would jump to targeted enemies without him having to properly aim.

“See my aim assist?” Dr Disrespect declared. “I can feel that, man. I can feel it dragging. Holy sh-t.”

After the long streaming session, Dr Disrespect declared that the aim assist in Vanguard is “very dramatic.”

Call of Duty is one of the few competitive esports where controllers reign supreme amongst the top pros. Dr Disrespect pointed out that he’s one of the only top players left that doesn’t use a controller in Call of Duty. But he believes that Vanguard is the perfect time for him and other keyboard and mouse purists to finally make the switch.

If not, controller players may leave them in the dust.

Call of Duty: Vanguard developer Sledgehammer hasn’t responded to Dr Disrespect’s aim assist observations. Other games, like Apex Legends, have attempted to balance aim assist to make keyboard and mouse equal to controller, although both have their own advantages.
