Warzone Glitch Plagues Players

It’s pretty safe to say that nobody was shocked when Call of Duty: Warzone’s Season 3 update led to glitches and bugs.

After Verdansk was nuked to smithereens during a zombie outbreak, Warzone players were dropped on Verdansk ‘84, an updated version of the map that celebrates the 80s. Some new spots appeared on the map as well, but players were mostly focused on the major glitches that allowed players to drop under the map entirely — leading to their death.

One of the major bugs had players falling through Train Station, spiraling to their death. Others included crashing into invisible buildings while airborne.

But perhaps the most concerning was a glitch that allowed competitors to find their way underneath Stadium and Airport. Fully hidden and unable to be damaged, these players were able to farm free kills while under the map. This was immediately considered a concerning cheat.

Luckily Raven Software has finally responded. In a tweet, the developers told players that they’ve been looking into “exploitable spots on the map” and a fix will be coming soon.

<blockquote class="twitter-tweet"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">We&#39;ve been looking into exploitable spots on the map that allow players to reach areas that are normally inaccessible.<br><br>A fix is coming soon! <a href=";ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">#Warzone</a><a href=""></a></p>&mdash; Raven Software (@RavenSoftware) <a href="">April 26, 2021</a></blockquote> <script async src="" charset="utf-8"></script>

While this is definitely a positive update, players were still unsure when the fix will come. But Raven acted fast since it’s such a major issue that can damage the integrity of the game. Train Station and Stadium have since been patched, but the glitch downtown still works.
